Could you please clarify
Could you please clarify whether Synqit import contacts only or in the process also send requests to them (to be added in Contacts)?
Thanks
Could you please clarify
Hello,
Current version of Synqit, imports only phone numbers without sending requests to existing Skype users. We have this functionality, but remove this on users' request.

Synchronising or Importing?
What isn't clear to me is if synchronisation occurs or it it merely an import? If it's an import it's less attractive however if this is the case what happens to existing skype contacts on import and to the history - assuming that somesort of overwrite occurs?
Synchronising or Importing?
Hi Liz,
Currenlty, Synqit provides import only functionality.
Synqit will not overwrite existing contacts in Skype. You will get a notification from Synqit that contacts import was skipped.
We are working on the next release that will provide two-way synchronization functionality.

Any plan when you are going
Any plan when you are going to release a " Sync " Feature ?
Any plan when you are going
Hi,
Update: Current version of Skype API does not allow implementation of synchronization functionality. So far, we don't plan to release Synqit with synchronization feature. This can be changed if Skype will release a new version of Skype API with appropriate functionality. We still support Synqit with import only functionality.

call it Importit not Synqit!!
Sorry mate, you told me you were working on 2-way sync (that IS sync!! 2-way is redundant) 2 or 3 years ago and fooled me into buying this useless IMPORTING ONLY program.
REAL synchronizing of two simple databases doesn't look like rocket science to me, so I guess that your friends at Skype want to hold tight all those juicy contacts that us idiots gave them for free, and you..... just have to slave along.
call it Importit not Synqit!!
Hi Fabio,
We don't hide that current Synqit provides import only functionality. And yes, we still working on 2-way synchronization. If you are not satisfied with Synqit, contact us directly on mail contact@synqit.com and we will refund your purchase.

Get it Correct! You do claim to but dont sync
Here is the URL where you DO CLAIM TO SYNC but then in this forum you claim you don't. Can you get it strait.

Oops tried to cut and past the print screen where you claim to sync. Here is the direct quote though from your syngit.com site:
Why would I purchase Synqit if Skype already provides import of contacts?
Synqit is designed to continuously maintain Skype contacts in synchronization with user's address books. It supports additional import sources, such as mobile phones and Plaxo. Synqit converts local phone numbers to the international format required by Skype and recognizes different phone types, such as Work, Mobile, Home etc. Read more »
So can we get it strait?
