Not Importing from Google Apps

I use Google Apps to manage my domain's email (so it's @mydomain.com and not @gmail.com)
I definitely KNOW my own email address and password, yet Synqit continues to return an "invalid username or password"
When I was just using a regular Gmail account it worked great, but with Google Apps, nothing. I rebuilt my system (not for this problem) so I have a fresh installation of Windows 7 and Synqit but same problem. Any ideas anyone?

Google Apps SSL APIs

I got synqit to talk to Google just fine after turning off SSL API enforcement, but I certainly don't feel very good about it. After the Snowden disclosures, it's clear that the NSA is mining contact lists to create connection networks between people. Every time I use synqit now, I can feel them updating their matrix to see if I communicate with anyone they find interesting.

It would be a lot nicer synqit used SSL. It's not very difficult to grab the openssl package and make the communication very secure. Unless the NSA knows Googles SSL private key---and so far Google denies it---there is a pretty good chance that using SSL will keep them out of my contact list, and that is just where I want them.

Thanks

Not Importing from Google Apps

Hi

What user name do you set when configuring Synqit source? For Google Apps it should be "yourUserName@yourdomain.com".
Hope this helps. If not, pleas contact us directly on Skype user "Synqit", we will make more detailed verifications.

also not working for me

I try importing from my google apps accounts and there's a 401 error. hat am I supposed to do to make this work? I confirmed the username and password are correct. contact@instateangels.com is username I'm using.

Not Importing from Google Apps

The problem occurs because Synqit does not support SSL connection to Google Contacts API and
configuration of your Google Apps enforces SSL usage for this API. If
you have permissions, you can switch off SSL enforcement for your
Google Apps configuration, read more on

Same issue

Using Google Apps. When I test the connection, I get: Status: An error during synchronization: Execution of request returned unexpected result:

When I try the sync, I get the 401 error.

So I had the admin turn off SSL for contacts, and nothing changed.
