you can make your twitter account private, or "protect your updates", so that only you and approved followers can see them. see http://help.twitter.com/forums/10711/entries/14016 .

for the implementation: just add a password field to the form and, if it is not empty (meaning your updates are protected), basic authenticate the request by putting a new NetworkCredential(username, password) into WebRequest.Credentials before fetching the status (see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/sxhw3bcy.aspx ). this shouldn't take more than an hour :)

speaking of feature requests: how about

* starting skype if it is not running (google "c# start skype")
* update twitter from the skype mood message?

Actually, when I reply a twit, syncMood show this messages in skype.
I think that I can take the option to display or not my replies (twits that begin with @), like a plus in SyncMood.

The request is for me the same, SyncMood also displays "@ " tweets, which basically are meant as replies to other tweets, and preferred not to be synced to Skype mood.

It doesn't start automatically, and there is no shortcut to click to start it.

I have added it to the startup folder now so it does start automatically when I start my PC. Is it supposed to remember my twitter name?

Currently, SyncMood does not support auto-start, you have to do it manually.
